Hours ago,Microsoft announced the birth of their Next-Gen Gaming device “the Xbox One” which right now is all everyone’s talking about.With it’s cool new features and specs it said[and we agree] that its the best contender for “BEST NEXT-GEN CONSOLE” award.
Meanwhile,Sony Corp. seem to be keen on the launching their device as they announced[probably a strategy to beat Microsoft at their own game] giving them time to access their competitor’s position and threat in the Console-gaming market.Sweet move but should things go too well for Microsoft,Sony Corp will regret launching their device long after they had announced it’s coming. Earlier,Microsoft unveiled its newest gaming console, the Xbox One[totally un-expected,nothing like the rumours] with a hand full of mouth-watering features. But sadly,it won’t play Xbox 360 games.Why?
It’s because the new gaming system has a different chip architecture — Advanced Micro Devices’ x86[AMD X86] instead of IBM’s PowerPC. Therefore, the Xbox One won’t have native compatibility with 360 games. It’s unclear at this time whether Microsoft will create a solution for that like maybe an upgrade patch of some kind or something similar,making some of the more popular games compatible or allowing users to access older titles through a cloud-streaming system.
